Hey guys today I'm going to run through the features of the Spektra Direkt 2.
The Spektra Direkt 2 is a popular hybrid rotary machine from the guys at FK Irons designed to push both standard needles and cartridges.
So let's take a closer look...
The patented Spektra MultiVise System accepts conventional backstem and screw-on-style cartridge grips allowing artists the ability to use any grip on the market without the need for adapters.
One grip that can be used with the Direkt 2 is the RPG Click Ergo grip from FK Irons.
This click grip has been designed with ergonomics in mind and utilises the FK Irons ratchet disc click system which enables adjustment of needle depth while preventing involuntary turning.
The Spektra Direkt 2 comes with stroke caps in three different sizes: 2.8, 3.4 and 4.0mm so you can adjust your stroke lengthto your preferences.
To change, use the stopper provided to keep the stroke wheel in place.
Then use your Allen key to loosen the two grub screws remove the armature choose your desired stroke wheel length put the armature back on and tighten the grub screws.
Then remove the stopper and you're ready to go.
One benefit of using the Direkt 2 is the ability to use the machine without the need for grommets or elastic bands thanks to the grommetless clip-on armature and the adjustable needle bar tensioner.
Powering the Direkt 2 is the Spektra Hex Drive MotorBolt which is also compatible
with the Edge X.
This MotorBolt features a high-quality Swiss Maxon motor that is powerful enough to run all needle groupings.
The body of the Spektra Direkt 2 is CNC-crafted from one solid rod of T6 aluminium mirror polished and anodised for ultimate durability.
Made in the USA, the Spektra Direkt 2 is powerful and consistent while managing to remain silent
at any voltage.
